The Pittsburgh Panthers and Miami Hurricanes are playing live on the ACC college football schedule on Saturday night and the game from Sun Life Stadium starts at 7 pm ET on ESPN2 on TV and it will be streaming from the WatchESPN website as the Atlantic Coast Conference rivals finish the season against each other.
The Hurricanes come into the game after a loss against Virginia Cavaliers and they are 6-5 on the season and they are scoring 30 points per game. Miami has lost two games in a row, including a tough loss to Florida State and they came into that game on a three game winning streak. Before that the team had lost to Georgia Tech and into that stretch they won four of the next five games. The team opened the season 2-1 before getting beaten by Nebraska and they now finish the year with Pitt.
Brad Kaaya is leading the team in passing with nearly 2700 yards this season and he has 23 touchdowns in 2014. Duke Johnson comes in as the leading running back for the team with 1431 yards rushing this year and he has 10 touchdowns and has been averaging over seven yards per carry on the year. Johnson has rushed for over 100 yards in six of the last seven games, but he was held to just 88 yards last week against Virginia. Johnson had his best game against Virginia Tech with 249 yards and he has put up some big games this season against ACC opponents.
The Panthers come into the game after a win against Syracuse and that snapped a four game losing streak and now they are looking to finish the season on a high note. The team had lost six of the last seven games before the win against Miami and they are allowing 25 points per game and the team is averaging 250 rushing yards and they are 5-6 on the season. The Panthers can become bowl eligible with a win and that makes this game even more important for the team.
