The Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy are playing in the second leg of the western conference championship in the MLS Cup Playoffs and Los Angeles comes in with the advantage and this match is on ESPN and streaming live on the WatchESPN website from CenturyLink Stadium as the top team in Major League Soccer tries to advance to play the New England Revolution.
The Sounders have been the top overall team this season and after a final battle in the regular season against the Galaxy, they ended up with the Supporters Shield. Seattle is looking to win a number of titles this year, as they won the US Open Cup and now could add the MLS title to the trophy case for the 2014 season. Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan are two of the biggest stars in the sport and they face off with a chance to go to the finals on the line Sunday.
LA lost the Supporters Shield and now they come in after a 1-0 win last week with a Marcelo Sarvas goal and that could be the difference on Sunday. The Sounders have been in a tough scoring drought and they are hoping that some home cooking can snap them out of it. DeAndre Yedlin has emerged as a star and now he has the chance to shine as well and this is a huge chance for both sides as the New England Revolution wait in the finals.
The Galaxy have played tough defense this postseason and they have allowed zero goals in the playoffs so far. The team has been strong at home and now if they can hold that up on the road they should get into the finals. The Revolution won over the Red Bulls and now they await the winner of this series.
