The Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings are playing live on the NHL schedule on Tuesday night and the game from the STAPLES Center has two of the top teams in the league meeting and things start up at 10:30 pm ET as the east-west battle goes down in Los Angeles.

The Kings come in as defending champions and the Bruins are looking to add another one after winning a few years ago and both teams come in with 29 points. The Bruins have 14 wins on the season while the Kings have 12 and the Bruins play against the San Jose Sharks after a loss against the Anaheim Ducks. The team is in the middle of their California tour and they are looking to get on a roll as they come into the December.

The team comes in after a loss against the Ducks and they come in at 22nd ranked in the league in scoring and 10th in goals against. The Kings come into the game after a loss against the Chicago Blackhawks and that was a rematch of the western conference finals and they have a matchup with the Coyotes next. The team is ranked fifth in goals against the Jonathan Quick has been playing very well this season, while the Kings are ranked 13th in goals per game.

Boston has lost three of the last four games and now they are on a west coast trip and they played two games in overtime over this last stretch. The team won over the Jets in overtime and they lost against the Penguins at home and before that they lost to the Canadiens. The team now plays the Kings, Sharks and Coyotes before returning home for a game against the Chicago Blackhawks in a matchup of Original Six teams.
