The Iowa State Cyclones and TCU Horned Frogs are playing live on the Big 12 conference college football schedule on Saturday and the game is huge for the playoff, as number three Texas Christian has the chance to finish strong with one loss and this matchup is on ABC and on the WatchESPN website as Baylor watches on and hopes for an upset.
Trevone Boykin comes into the game as the leader for TCU and he is looking to lead his team to another win, as they are 10-1 and looking good for the playoff. The team is ranked eighth in passing yards per game and he comes in after throwing for 233 against the Longhorns in a huge win for TCU. The team has an easy game against ISU and some have been mad that TCU is ahead of Baylor after losing to the team this season.
Boykin has 3254 yards this season and 26 TDs and he has been the key and his leading receiver comes in with 50 catches for over 800 yards and eight scores this season. Boykin is also second in rushing on the team with nearly 600 yards and another eight scores and they will all need to play their best on Saturday to lock things down. The team is third in the nation in scoring and the defense has been solid, allowing 21 points per game this season.
TCU has won six games in a row since losing to Baylor and that was one of the craziest games of the season. The matchup saw Baylor score 61 points and now TCU has the chance to end the season after winning the last two on the road and the two before that were against Kansas State at home and WVU on the road, which is always tough. The team has the resume and now they have the chance to get in.
