Olympics 2012 Gymnastics: Live Stream Watch The Men's Individual Finals Competition

China won gold in the men's team gymnastics competition, but now is time for the individuals to earn it themselves.

Here's a short list of competitors that are favorite to win.

Kohei Uchimura, Japan:

Japanese gymnast Kohei Uchimura is the defending world champion in the all-around and has to be the favorite heading into the all-around, as well as the floor exercise, where he can demonstrate his athleticism.

Uchimura excels at the vault and floor routine, but he has incredible versatility and can handle any apparatus. In the team final, he was one of only a couple of competitors to perform in every event for his team. Now he needs to do it again for his own benefit.

Danell Leyva, USA:

American Danell Leyva's strength is on the parallel bars, where he is the defending world champion. Leyva won gold on the apparatus at last year's World Championships in Tokyo and will be one of the favorites win gold in the event in London.

He led all competitors with 91.265 points in the qualifying round, and now he has to replicate that performance to take home an individual gold.

Daniel Purvis, Great Britain:

Like Uchimura, Purvis competed in all six apparatuses for his squad and was a big reason why they were so successful.

He finished in fourth place in last year's World Championships, but he can win gold if he performs to his ability in the final.

Chen Yibing and Zou Kai, China:

They are two gymnasts to keep an eye on in the men's rings and vault respectively. Both are capable of outclassing the competition if things go their way.
