NBA Rumors and News: Jabari Parker Out For Season With Torn ACL For Milwaukee Bucks

Milwaukee Bucks rookie Jabari Parker is likely out for the season with an ACL injury his knee, as media reports have come out saying that the Bucks expect Parker to miss the rest of the year with his injury, which was suffered against the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.

According to ESPN.com and Yahoo Sports, Parker injured his left knee on Monday night and the injury looks like an ACL tear. Parker told teammates about the injury, which cuts short his rookie season by a few months and now he will have to recover into next season. Parker was considered to be the most NBA ready of the top players drafted and he went second overall to the Bucks after Andrew Wiggins was selected by the Cavaliers.

Parker and the Bucks had been playing above expectations, going 13-12 this season, but now they will be without Parker. The team is currently in the playoffs mix and is the sixth seed in the east and now he will be done until at least next season. Parker had been averaging 12.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists this season and shooting just under 50 percent. Parker was second to Wiggins in scoring among rookies and was third in rebounding.

Parker went to Duke and came out after one season and was considered to be the player that would adjust to the NBA the fastest among the top 10 picks. Parker has a great potential and now he will have to recover in the offseason before coming back to the Bucks.
