The Milwaukee Bucks and LA Clippers are playing on the NBA schedule on Saturday and the matchup starts at 10:30 pm ET from the Staples Center as Chris Paul and Blake Griffin take the court in a showdown of east and west teams.
The Bucks come in after a win over the Kings and now they will take on the Clippers before a matchup with the Charlotte Hornets. The Bucks have been one of the surprising teams in the east this season, as they were expected to finish in the bottom of the division and now are over .500 at 14-13. The Clippers are one of the top teams in the west and they are second in the Pacific division at 18-8 on the season.
The Clippers come in after a loss against the Denver Nuggets and they will next play against the Spurs after the matchup with the Bucks. The Clippers are averaging 106 points per game to ranked fourth in the NBA in scoring and they are fifth in assists per game. Blake Griffin comes in after putting up 32 points, while DeAndre Jordan had 14 rebounds and Paul added 15 assists. The Bucks are averaging 99 points per game and they are ranked 27th in rebounds per game.
Griffin is leading the Clippers with 23 points per game, while Brandon Knight is averaging 17 points and five assists this season. Griffin has played very well for the Clippers in home games this season and while the Bucks are improved, the team needs to take care of business. The Bucks won in Sacramento and now they will try and get things going again in the matchup with the Clippers.
