The Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals are playing live on the NFL Week 16 schedule for Sunday night football and the matchup is from University of Phoenix Stadium and this basically is for the NFC West division and both teams could end up on top and it starts at 8:30 pm ET on NBC and streaming online from the NBC Sports Network Live Extra website.
The Seahawks are coming in hot and while the Cardinals are the top team in the division, they are down to their third quarterback and they are relying on Ryan Lindley to lead the team to a win. The Seahawks come into the game ranked first in rushing yards per game and they are fifth in rush defense and now have the chance to get to 11-4 with a win here. The team comes in after a win over the Niners and they have the Rams to end the season.
The Seahawks have won four games in a row and seven of the last eight and they are looking like their Super Bowl selves from last season, especially on defense. Over this winning streak they have allowed two touchdowns or fewer in all four games and in divisional matchups they have allowed just 13 points in three games in the streak. The team ends the season at home with the Rams and that leads into the playoffs and now they have to see if it will be as a wild card or divisional champ.
The Cardinals play against the Niners to finish the season after playing the Seahawks and they have the chance to clinch home field through the Super Bowl. The team comes in ranked sixth in rushing yards per game and they are 15th in passing yards and the offense likely will be off a bit with Lindley coming in.
