Olympics 2012 Tennis Results: Roger Federer and Andy Murray Will Meet in Men's Finals

Roger Federer and Andy Murray will once again meet in a Finals. It will be in London again but this time for the London 2012 Olympic gold medal. They were in Wimbledon last month competing for a Grand Slam title.

Both tennis players won their matches today in the semifinals of the Men's Singles. By far, Federer's match was more of a nailbiter than Murray's.

Eighth ranked Juan Martin del Potro beat Federer in the first set. Then came close to eliminating the player from Switzerland in the second set as they took it to a tie breaker, which Federer won.

The last set will be one of the greatest sets played in the history of the Olympics. The last set took 38 games to complete and Federer finished del Potro off 20-18.

Murray's match was not easier as he faced 2nd ranked player Novak Djokovic. In both sets, Murray and Djokovic exchanged points until the match was tied at 5. Murray stepped it up and won the last two games in both sets to take the match 7-5, 7-5.

Great Britain will once again back up their native athlete as both Federer and Murray will go after their first gold medals.
