The NFL playoff schedule for the divisional round in the AFC and NFC picks up on Saturday and Sunday and TV coverage will be on NBC, Fox and CBS as the Patriots, Ravens, Broncos, Colts, Packers, Seahawks, Panthers and Cowboys take the field in the postseason and the winners will advance to the conference championship game ahead of the Super Bowl in Arizona.
The Cowboys won over the Detroit Lions in a controversial game to advance to play the Packers, while the Panthers won over the Cardinals and now play the Seahawks. Seattle was the top seed in the NFC and they will host, while the Cowboys will visit the Packers in Green Bay for the first time in the playoffs since the Ice Bowl. The championship saw the Packers emerge victorious and now the Cowboys will try and keep things going after getting some lucky calls against the Lions.
The Colts won over the Bengals and now play against the Denver Broncos on the road. The matchup has Andrew Luck leading the Colts against the former Indy QB in Peyton Manning and that should be a very good matchup. The Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens will play on Sunday and that game is a rematch of the AFC championship from when the Ravens went on to win the Super Bowl. Joe Flacco and Tom Brady have each won a ton of games in the playoffs and now they will matchup again.
The Ravens and Patriots will be the first game on the schedule and that matchup will be on NBC starting up past 4:30 pm ET. The game will be from Gillette Stadium and has the Pats as the number one seed in the AFC playoffs. The Patriots won the AFC East again this season, while the Ravens came into the playoffs as a wild card and they won in the first round over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks are playing in the primetime game on FOX and that matchup starts at 8:15 pm ET from CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks are the number one team in the NFC this season and they are hosting a Carolina team that won the NFC South with a losing record. The Cowboys won a game against the Lions that was basically decided by the officials and they will visit the Packers. The matchup between Green Bay and Dallas starts at 1:05 pm ET on FOX. The final matchup of the weekend has the Colts visiting the Broncos and that will be on CBS at 4:40 pm ET.
