The Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes are playing on the Big Ten conference basketball schedule on Tuesday and the matchup from Value City Arena starts at 7 pm ET on ESPN and streaming from WatchESPN and has OSU coming in after winning the national championship in football against Oregon on Monday night and now the basketball team matches up with their biggest rivals.
Ohio State comes in after a win against Indiana and they next will play against the Hawkeyes on the schedule and this comes as the team is just 2-2 in the conference. The Buckeyes are coming in after a close loss to Indiana on the road and now they host a Michigan team that has a 3-1 record in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes come in scoring 81 points per game and that is good for 14th in the nation and they are also ranked in the top four in field goal percentage and the top 15 in assists per game.
The team had won two in a row and four of five when they lost to Indiana and now they have Michigan before matchups with Iowa, Northwestern and Indiana again. Michigan comes into the game after a loss against Minnesota and they will next play against Northwestern after the matchup with Ohio State. The team has been struggling a bit on offense, but they have won four of the last five games and that came after a tough four game losing streak.
The team has some tough games coming up after playing against OSU, as they matchup with Rutgers and Wisconsin on the schedule. These two teams are not in the rankings now, but they are expected to play better and if the Big Ten picks things up with Wisconsin and Maryland, those teams should be back into it.
