Kessy and Ross advanced to the Finals 15-21, 21-9, 15-12 where they will face Misty May Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings.

April Ross and Jennifer Kessy of the USA will face Brazil's Juliana Silva and Larissa Franca of Brazil in the second semifinals match of the day.The winner of this match already know they will face Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor in the Women's Volleyball Olympic Finals.

Find out if the United States will automatically win gold or if the Brazilians will give the Olympic gold medal of Women's Beach Volleyball a new home. 

Silva and Franca come into the tournament ranked first in the world for the Women's event.

They have proved this as they have dominated in all of their matchups. So far in the Olympics, Franca and Silva have yet to drop a set to their opponents. 

The Brazilians will face a strong and experienced American duo in Kessy and Ross. Though the maericans have not dominated the same way the Brazilians have, they have shown dominance in their last two matches as they swept their opponents. They are currently on a five-set winning streak. 

Their last lost came against Spains duo of Liliana Steiner Fernandez and Elsa McMilan Baquerizo on August 2. 

Since then the Americans have been rolling.
