The Cleveland Cavaliers and LA Clippers are playing live on the NBA schedule on Friday night and the matchup from Los Angeles is at the STAPLES Center as the Cavs and LeBron James continue their west coast trip and the game starts at 10:30 pm ET on ESPN and the WatchESPN website for the basketball battle as King James, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Kyrie Irving take the floor.

The Cavaliers come into the game after a win over the Lakers that saw LeBron James and Kobe Bryant go head to head and now the team plays the other team in the STAPLES Center. The Cavs are now 20-20 on the season and they are looking to keep things going in the right direction heading into a matchup with the Chicago Bulls. The team got 36 points from James and five assists and he has looked good since coming back from a two week absence for an injury.

The team is averaging 100 points per game on offense and they are ranked 19th in defense and they are looking to improve down the second half. The team traded for Iman Shumpert, JR Smith and Timofey Mozgov and that should make them much better as they head towards the playoffs. The Clippers come into the game after a win against the Portland Trail Blazers and the team next will play against the Kings on the road.

The Clippers are 26-13 this season and second in the pacific division and they come in after getting 25 points from Jamal Crawford, 18 rebounds from DeAndre Jordan and 10 assists from Chris Paul. The team is ranked fifth in the league in scoring with 106 points per game and with LeBron returning, this should be a great matchup.
