Olympics 2012 Women's Beach Volleyball Live Stream: Watch Franca,Silva Brazil vs. China's Xue,Zhang Go for Bronze

The stage has been set as we will find out who will claim the gold in the Women's Beach Volleyball Bronze Medal Match. Brazil's Julianna Silva and Larissa Franca will face off against Chen Xue and Xi Zhang of China at 2 p.m. ET/7 p.m. GMT

Xue and Zhang were eliminated from the semifinals and a chance of gold went into smoke. They faced Misty May Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings and lost in two straight sets to the Americans who own the 2008 gold medal in the event.

China's duo was ranked second in the entire Women's Beach Volleyball tournament. They had been 4-1 from the preliminaries through the quarterfinals. They lost on Tuesday in two sets 22-20, 22-20.

For Franca and Silva it was also a very disappointing exit. They were ranked No. 1 in the Women's Beach Volleyball competition and were beaten by the fourth ranked duo of April Ross and Jennifer Kessy. They were expected to capture silver in the Olympic event.

They went into the semifinals without losing a set in the entire tournament. They had won 10 straight sets and owned a perfect 5-0 record in the 2012 London Olympics.

They started out on the right path as they took the first set of Tuesday's match 21-15. They went on to lose the second and third sets, giving the victory to the Americans. The final score of that match was 15-21, 21-19, 15-12 in favor of the American duo.
