Super Bowl 49 XLIX Schedule: Media Day Coverage, TV Start Time, NBC Channel, Live Stream and Game Preview

Super Bowl 49 XLIX is a week away and things hit Phoenix for the festivities with Media Day on Tuesday for the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks and this comes with Deflate gate still a national story before the NBC-televised championship next Sunday.

The Patriots and the Seahawks matchup has number one seeds into the Super Bowl from the AFC and the NFC with Tom Brady and Russell Wilson leading their teams. New England arrived in Arizona on Monday and they are staying in the same hotel that the Giants did when the two teams faced off in the Super Bowl here. The Seahawks come into this game as the defending champions and the Patriots come in after losing the Super Bowl when they were 18-0 the last time they played in Glendale.

Media Day is going to be very interesting this year and live coverage will be on ESPN, NBC Sports Network and the NFL Network and Deflate Gate likely will be the main topic. Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch likely will get bombarded, as will quarterback Tom Brady. The NFL is continuing their investigation into the incident and they likely will not release their findings or any potential punishments until after the big game.

The Seahawks come into the game with a top ranked defense, ranking first in the league in passing yards per game and third in rushing yards allowed. The team was ranked first in the league in rushing yards per game behind another great season from Marshawn Lynch and he could be the key for Seattle in this Super Bowl. The Patriots defense has played well, but if Lynch goes Beast Mode he could end up winning the MVP of the game if the Seahawks are victorious.

The Seahawks and Patriots were both 12-4 this season and this is the first matchup of top seeds in the Super Bowl in years. The Seahawks won a miracle game against the Packers in the NFC championship game and Lynch had 157 yards in that matchup, while Russell Wilson rebounded after throwing four interceptions to lead the team to victory.
