Montreal Canadiens vs. NY Rangers Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming NHL Game

The Montreal Canadiens and NY Rangers are playing live on the NHL schedule on Thursday night and the game is live from Madison Square Garden and starts up at 7 pm ET and will be on the NBC Sports Network and streaming online from the NBCSN Live Extra website as Rick Nash, Max Pacioretty, Carey Price and Henrik Lundqvist take the ice.

The Canadiens are looking for some revenge after the Rangers won over them in six games last year in the east finals and now they get the chance. These two teams are playing well and the Rangers are back in the mix after a great streak last month. The Canadiens come into the game after a win over the Stars and they next will play against the Capitals on the schedule after matching up with the Rangers.

Montreal comes into the game ranked third in the league in goals against and fifth in penalty kill percentage and they are ranked 21st in scoring. The Rangers have been getting some great play from Rick Nash this year and he is the player to watch for the Blueshirts for Montreal and their D. Montreal comes in with 30 wins and 63 points this season and they are third in the Atlantic division standings.

The Rangers come in after a bad lsos to the Islanders but they have played very well overall and now are fourth in the Metro division. The Metro has been good this year and the teams are close on points and the Rangers come in with the Hurricanes next on the schedule after this matchup with Montreal. The team is ranked in the top 10 in scoring and in the top five in goals against and that is why the team is right in the mix in the east.

The Rangers won the eastern conference last season and now they have the chance to try and move up against the Canadiens after winning over them in the east finals last year. Nash comes in leading the Rangers in goals and points this season and he is one of the league leaders in scoring. Pacioretty has been impressive again and he is tops in goals and points as well and those two players will be front and center for these teams on Thursday night for the NBCSN game.

The Rangers hadn't given up four goals in a game in a while after losing to the Islanders and now they are ready to bounce back. Henrik went 14-2 for the team during a recent stretch and he was fantastic in net and that is what has the Rangers back in position here in the east heading out of the All-star break.
