Olympics 2012 Track And Field: Live Stream Watch The Women's 4x100m Final At 3:40 PM ET

There will be eight teams competing in the women's 4x100 meter relay on Aug. 10 competing for the chance to win gold for their countries.

The U.S. is currently the country that holds the most track and field medals from the 2012 London Games, holding a total of 24. Jamaica is currently in second with a total of nine medals.

The U.S. women's team could include Carmelita Jeter, who won silver this week in the 100m sprint, and Allyson Felix, who won gold in the 200m.

The Jamaican team could look equally as good, especially if their lineup is changed to include  Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Veronica Campbell Brown, both winners of multiple gold medals.

Other teams competing in the finals are Nigeria, Ukraine, Jamaica, Brazil and the Netherlands.

The race will be followed by the men's 4x400 relay, an event that the Americans have won in 16 of the last 22 Olympics.

Friday's schedule also includes finals in two long-distance events, the women's 5000m and women's 1,500m, as well as qualifying heats in the men's 4x100m and the women's 4x400m relays. Finals in those two relays will be held Saturday.
