The women's 1500m finals will begin Aug. 10 at 3:55 p.m. ET.
Shannon Rowbury and Morgan Uceny will represent Team USA in the day's finals. Rowbury competed in the Olympics and won bronze in the 1500m at the 2009 World Championships.
Uceny came in second in her heat during round one of the relay with a clocked time of 4:06.87. She won her first national time in the 1500m mark in 2011 and that same year, she won the Diamond League 15,000-meter title, according to NBC.
Britain will have two women in the final as well.
Lisa Dobriskey and Laura Weightman advanced from the semi-finals, but world silver medalist Hannah England missed out.
Dobriskey, who has made a remarkable return to fitness after being diagnosed with potentially fatal blood clots on her lungs earlier this year, was fourth in the first semi-final to qualify automatically.
But Weightman endured an agonizing wait as officials examined a photo finish in the second semi before going through as one of the two fastest losers in a new personal best of 4:02.99. Weightman edged out Slovakia's Lucia Klocova on the line, with both athletes given the same time.
