The Men's Water Polo event will have its first match of the day between Serbia and Montenegro, as one team will try not going home empty handed. The action is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. ET/2:30 p.m. GMT.
Both teams are coming off recently losses in the semifinal round, killing their chances of capturing gold in the Olympic Games.
Serbia faced Italy and lost 9-7. They fell behind early 5-2 in the second quarter and the lead was enough to help Italy control the rest of the game. The Serbs were within one goal as the score became 6-5, but Italy regained their three-point lead at the end of the third quarter.
Montenegro was defeated by Croatioa 7-5. Unlike Serbia, Montenegro possessed a lead early in the match. They scored first and were up 1-0. Croatia then scored five unanswered goals to take a 5-1 lead into the third quarter. Croatia added to more in the third and led 7-3 into the final quarter where Montenegro could only get two goals back.

Montenegro and Serbia met once already in the 2012 London Olympics and they finished in a 11-11 draw.
