-------WELCOME TO THE LIVE BLOG OF ARSENAL vs. SUNDERLANDER--------

We are back in London a couple of days after the Olympics wrapped up. It is time to dive into the English Premier League as a new club will attempt to have the better season and be claimed champions. 

Arsenal, the third best team during the regular season will face Sunderland in the first match of the 2012 Premier League. It will be at least, the first first match televised as there are a few other games kicking off at the 10 a.m. ET/3 p.m. GMT.

Join us at Sports World Report as we will live blog minute to minute action of the Arsenal vs. Sunderland. 

We will try to get starting lineups as the players have marched into the stadium and on to the field. 

Arsenal will rally behind Theo Walcott as he will look to continue being the scoring machine for the Gunners. The 23-year-old, home grown talent finished 2011-2012 with 26 of Arsenal's 68 goals.
