NFL Preseason Schedule 2012: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cleveland Browns In Action Friday Night

The Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns will cross paths Friday night in Week 3 of the NFL preseason. The action will take place in Cleveland Brown Stadium beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. CT.

The Eagles are coming off a win that cost them more than they hoped. They defeated the New England Patriots 27-17, but lost Michael Vick for the remainder of the preseason. The Patriots looked like geniuses for sitting down Tom Brady.

Luckily for the Eagles, Nick Folk stepped up big time as he guided the team to victory and briefly, concerns of Vick took a back seat as the young quarterback cut through the Patriots' defense.

Foles finished the night 18/28 with 217 passing yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception. He was in complete control all night long.

For the Browns it was a successful Week 2 performance against the Green Bay Packers. Beat is an understatement for what they did to the Packs as they won 35-10.

Most of their drives resulted in field goals, but nonetheless, their defense and offense showed off. They intercepted three passes and ran one back for a pick-six. David Sims ran back a 38-yard interception.

Brandon Weeden completed 12-20 passes for 118 yards. Montario Hardesty and Brandon Jackson both had a rushing touchdown each.

Both teams are 2-0 in the 2012 preseason.
