FIFA Women's World Cup 2012 Results: Nigeria Wins, Defeats Italy 4-0

Nigeria advanced into the quarterfinals after defeating Italy 4-0 in the last match of the qualifiers at the Women's World Cup in Japan. Francisca Ordega put on a show in this match.

She opened up the scored in the first half with her first goal of the match. 22 minutes into the first, she scored on what looked like an offsides as she crossed through the middle and kicked the ball past the Italian goalie.

Ordega struck again early in the second half as she scored at the 40th minute and followed up with a goal in minute 47 as she completed her hat trick. 

Italy's Osarenoma Igbinovia added a goal at minute 86 to complete the 4-0 routing. 

With the victory they finished the tournament undefeated. They won two matches and tied one against Brazil. They finished in first place in the Group B standings with 7 points. 

Nigeria will face Mexico in the quarterfinals. Here are the stats of the match.
