Los Angeles Lakers Rumors 2012: Dwight Howard Reaches Out to Fans and Supporters On Twitter, Ends His Twitter Vacation

The Los Angeles Lakers have made the necessary moves this off-season to allow them to become legitimate title contenders once more. With the acquisition of Steve Nash, Antawn Jamison, Jodie Meeks and Dwight Howard, it's no question this was an automatic fan pleaser of there in L.A.

Recently Howard has given his fans another gift, something he hasn't done in a while.

That's right, Howard began tweeting again.

Howard, after not tweeting since April 20, broke his 140-character over the weekend with this tweet.:

"Hey wooooorllldd. Ya boy is back and I'm here in beautiful lala land. La wassssuppp."

Howard, who was acquired by the Lakers via trade earlier this month, has been rehabbing his back injury in L.A. for the majority of the summer. News recently surfaced that he also bought a $20 million mansion in L.A., which is encouraging for Laker fans who are worried he might bolt for free agency following this season.

Howard's latest tweet was an instant fan pleaser as since then he's already received over two thousand re-tweets and over seven hundred favorites.

Also Howard has begun talking to some of his fans on the social website and he's left comments and re-tweeted comments left to him on his page.

It has yet to be determined what kind of player Howard will be now that he's relocated in L.A., but one things for sure is that the local fans are happy to see him there.

Howard may be happy too.
