Miami Dolphins Rumors: DeVante Parker, Dorial Green-Beckham, Jaelen Strong Draft Targets With Michael Crabtree, Greg Jennings Free Agent Options?

The Miami Dolphins may look at adding a veteran wide receiver after the draft and names like Michael Crabtree, Greg Jennings or Hakeem Nicks could be free agent options and this comes as players like DeVante Parker, Dorial Green-Beckham, Jaelen Strong and Kevin White could be potential targets in the NFL draft to join Ryan Tannehill in South Beach.

The Dolphins have been one of the more active teams in free agency this offseason and they could continue in that direction as things move into the spring. According to ESPN.com, the team has hosted Michael Crabtree on a free agent visit and they also plan on talking to Greg Jennings about potentially signing. The team also could look at Hakeem Nicks or Denarius Moore as veteran free agent options to add depth for Ryan Tannehill.

The Miami offense is in good shape heading into the spring, but there has been changeover at the wide receiver position. Jarvis Landry remains after a strong rookie season, but Mike Wallace, Brandon Gibson and Brian Hartline are all gone after being traded or released. The Dolphins added a promising young player in Kenny Stills, but according to James Walker at ESPN.com, the team still looks at the position as one of need and they want to add depth for Tannehill moving forward.

The draft offers an opportunity for the Dolphins, as they have the number 14 overall pick and could have a solid group of wide receivers to choose from. Landry has turned out to be a great pick and moving forward the Palm Beach Post reports players like DeVante Parker, Kevin White, Dorial Green-Beckham and Arizona State's Jaelen Strong could be targets for the Dolphins.

Tannehill had his best season in three years and as the Dolphins work on an extension with the quarterback, they are hoping his development continues in the right direction. Crabtree is a solid option for the Dolphins to look at, as he likely will not cost much and could be a productive third or fourth receiver. Last season Crabtree had 68 catches for 698 yards while playing in 16 games for the first time since tearing his ACL before the previous season. Crabtree put up his best numbers in 2012 with 85 catches for over 1100 yards and nine touchdowns and while the Dolphins know he likely won't be at those numbers again, he could be a strong contributor to the offense.

Greg Jennings was released by the Vikings and that came after two up and down seasons with the team following his productive career with the Packers. Jennings had 10 touchdowns in two seasons and he reportedly has met with the Panthers and could also be a target for the Packers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Last season Jennings had 59 catches in 16 games for the Vikings.

The Palm Beach report says that the team is likely waiting to sign a veteran until after the draft and that could open things up for one of the receivers. White has blazing speed and that could keep him from getting out of the top 10, leaving someone like Parker as the top target for the Dolphins. According to ESPN.com, the Dolphins are hosting Parker on a pre-draft visit and they look at him as a potential number two option across from Landry.
