The West Virginia Mountaineers and Kentucky Wildcats are playing live on the Sweet 16 schedule for the NCAA Tournament and the Midwest region game is on TV from CBS and streaming online from the March Madness website and it will be on at 9:45 pm ET as UK tries to stay undefeated and the game is from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland for the game.
Kentucky comes in after winning against the Cincinnati Bearcats in the last game and now they have a number five seed with West Virginia. Kentucky has the chance to be the first undefeated team in decades to win a championship and this could be their toughest game of the season up to his point. Aaron Harrison led the way against Cincinnati and he had 13 points for the Wildcats.
Kentucky comes in at 36-0 and they are looking to remain undefeated for the duration of the tournament. John Calipari said that his team is ready and this is the toughest matchup the team has had in a long time. West Virginia won against Maryland and they are 25-9 this season and they come in averaging 73 points and they are not intimidated by Kentucky. Bob Huggins has won against John Calipari before and that gives the Mountaineers confidence coming in.
The team has won three of the last four games they have played and they took down Buffalo in the opening round of the tournament.
