FIFA U20 Women's World Cup 2012 ESPN Live Stream: Japan vs. Korea in Quarterfinal Matchup

Nigeria and Mexico wrapped up the first half of the day's quarterfinals and now it is time for the host, Japan and Korea Republic to meet up for their matchup in the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup. 

That match is set to take place at 7:30 p.m. JST/6:30 a.m. ET.

Japan, finished in first place in the standings with two wins and a draw in the Group A pool. Their draw came against New Zealand with the score finishing 2-2. They gave up more than half of their goals in this match alone. Japan scored 10 goals in the first round, while allowing three. 

Yoko Tanaka had a huge part in the Japanese offense as she scored close to half of the team's goals. Tanaka scored four goals in the group matches. 

For South Korea, representing Group B, they will show up to this match with two wins and a loss in the first round. They lost their matchup to the Nigerians that played against Mexico earlier in the day.

The Koreans defeated Italy and Brazil on the legs of Jeoun Eunha, who had three of the four goals in their two winning matches. 

Do not miss the action as Thursday's evening is loaded with a heavy matchup between Korea vs. Japan.
