The 2015 Masters tournament is live from Augusta National for Round 2 on Friday and Tiger Woods is teeing off early and coverage is live streaming online with a stream from the PGA Tour main website and on ESPN and the WatchESPN website as the major tourney has Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Phil Mickelson looking to win the green jacket.
Woods teed off early for the second round and it comes after Spieth came into the day leading the field. Spieth has a four stroke lead through four holes and he is leading a group that includes Justin Rose and Ernie Els. Last year the young player nearly won the tournament and now he is trying to set himself up for a deep run this weekend.
McIlroy came in seven strokes back of Spieth and Mickelson is coming into the day at two under after putting up a 70 in Round 1. Woods is one under through two holes and he wants to make it to the weekend after coming back following a long layoff. Woods has been out since February and now he gets the chance to compete in the Masters and he has a tough road ahead after being out for so long. McIlroy comes in as the world number one, while Woods has fallen back out of the top 100 after not playing and dealing with injuries last season.
McIlroy has won multiple majors and he now is looking to win all of them if he gets the title at Augusta and he comes in after putting in a one under par for a 71 in the first round. Spieth had the best performance of the day and that left him in first place and he started off well on Friday as well. Rose comes in after putting up a solid performance and he has the chance to make a run as well after putting up a 67 to start things off.
Bubba Watson won things last year and Spieth came in second and he is looking like the young star on tour now with McIlroy established. McIlroy is 25 and Spieth is just 21 and he could have some strong years ahead of him after the way he has performed early on. Spieth has overshadowed some other players and he is looking to take his lead into the weekend.
The Masters have coverage on the PGA Tour website and on ESPN and the WatchESPN website and things will kick over to CBS over the weekend. Woods is looking to make the cut into the weekend, while McIlroy will try and push into the top part of the leaderboard with Spieth
