The world's No. 2 ranked Novak Djokovic and No. 4 David Ferrer were able to play 32 minutes of the first set on Saturday, with David Ferrer holding a 5-2 lead.

With Roger Federer out of competitiong, it s a great chance for Ferrer to win his first Grand Slam title. However, Novak Djokovic is the defending U.S Open champion, so it will take a tremendous effort from the Spaniard.

Djokovic will try to win back-to-back U.S. Open titles, while also attempting to capture his sixth Grand Slam title and his second title of the year as he won the Australian Open, an event which he has performed well in the past.

Great Britain's Andy Murray is already in the finals waiting for an opponent. Murray got passed Tomas Berdych yesterday in their wind-infested match. Murray was able to settle down after dropping the first set, using the weather conditions to his favor and got passed the semifinals and into the Finals.

For Murray, it is the second consecutive Grand Slam event where he finishes in the Finals. He was a finalist at Wimbledon.
