FIFA World Cup 2014 Qualifiers Results: Winners and Losers From Tuesday Matchups, Russia, Japan, New Zealand and Romania Get Wins

The second games of the FIFA World Cup 2014 Qualifiers went down on Tuesday and there were plenty of winners in plenty of matchups. Note, this story was written at 4:20 p.m. ET, so some matchups did not end before story was published.

Japan 1 vs. 0 Iraq - (Asia Group B)
Japan wins after they get a goal at minute 25 from Ryoichi Maeda for the victory. It was the one and only goal of the match.

Russia 4- 0 Israel (Europe Group F)
Russia got their offense started early with a goal at the seven minute mark from Alexander Kerzhakov. Alexander Kokorin added one at minute 18. Kerzhakov added his second in minute 64 and Victor Fayzulin completed the routing with a goal at minute 77.

New Zealand 6-1 Solomon Islands (Oceania Round Three)
New Zealand had a party against Solomon Islands. They scored four goals in the second have and six different players add a score. Shane Smeltz got things started in minute 12, Kosta Barabarouses added one in minute 25, Chris Killen scored in minute 53, Tony Lochhead at minute 69, Chris Wood minute 80 and Marco Rojas in minute 83. Henry Fa'Arodo of Solomon Islands made sure the team did not go out scoreless with a goal in minute 51.

Romania 4-0 Andorra (Group D)
Romania was victorious as they won 4-0. They had two goals from Gabriel Torje and Costin Lazar in the first half and did not score again until extended time as Lazar addaed his second of the match and Alexandry Maxim scored right before regulation. 

Lebanon 1-0 Iran
Lebanon only needed a first half goal to win over Iran. Roda Antar added the score in minute 28. 

Cyprus 1-0 Iceland (Group E)
Konstantinos Makridis scored the only goal of the match to give Cyprus the victory.

Bulgaria 1-0 Armenia (Group B)
Stanislav Manolev scored right before the end of the first half to give his nation the win.

Jordan 2-1 Australia (Asia Group B) 
Jordan got two second half goals which proved enough for the win. Hasan Mahmoud scored the first goal of the match on a penalty kick and Amer Deeb added the winner in minute 75. Australia got a late goal from Archie Thompson, but it was not enough.

Uzbekistan 2-2 Korea Republic (Asia Group A)
Despite it ending in a draw, it was a small victory for Uzbekistan as Korea Republic were the favorite to win this match. Ki Sungyueng scored first in minute 13 onlyto have Kwak Tae Hwi tie the match for the Koreans in minute 43. Lee Dong Gook gave the Koreans the lead at minute 57 and Sanjar Tursunov tied the match at minute 59.
