PGA Tour Leaderboard: Players Championship Golf Scores From TPC Sawgrass With Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods

The PGA Tour Leaderboard is live from the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach in Florida for Round 3 on Saturday and the final round of the golf tournament on Sunday and players like Kevin Na, Jerry Kelly, Rickie Fowler, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia and Bubba Watson take the course with live coverage on TV from NBC.

Following the first two rounds of play, Kevin Na and Jerry Kelly had the lead and on Saturday by the time they were set for tee off, they still were leading. The two are eight under coming into the day, while Branden Grace and David Hearn are six under with Bubba Watson and Rory Sabbatini also in the mix. Na was alone in the lead before getting caught by Kelly and the group behind starting the day included Rickie Fowler, Bill Haas and Chris Kirk along with Zach Johnson. Kelly had a strong second round after putting up a 71 and he had a seven under 65 and he also put up a three under on the back nine.

Jordan Spieth had a slow start and that was too much for him to overcome, as he did not end up making the cut. Spieth has had a big year, but that was obviously a disappointing round for him and now he is out for the weekend. Jason Day also ended up on the sidelines after a slow go of things and Rory McIlroy comes in after putting up a one under 71 in the second round and he was four under coming in.

Phil Mickelson also missed the cut after putting up scores of 73 and 76 for the tourney. Spieth was not sharp and he comes in after winning the Masters and he put up a score of 75 before a 72 and now he is out for the weekend. Spieth was with McIlroy and Day for the first two rounds and McIlroy was the only player to come out of that group.

Tiger Woods also made the cut and he was able to get through after putting up a one under 71 for the day to get into the weekend. Woods is ranked way down on the standings list and he is trying to get going after being out for a long stretch. Woods was able to keep things going with a birdie at the end. McIlroy was not satisfied with his performance but he has the chance to make up for things over the weekend.
