The Champions League final has Barcelona playing Juventus after completing the win over Bayern Munich in the semifinals and the team now advances on aggregate 5-3 as Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar try and compete the run for the European trophy.
Bayern Munich has been one of the best teams in the world over the past few years and now Barcelona is through into the final. This could set up the second straight all La Liga final in the Champions League, as Real Madrid played against Atletico Madrid last season. Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale will try and get through against Juventus and they will have a tough test if they make it against Barcelona.
Barcelona is through despite losing 3-2 to Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena, as they had three goals in the first leg and now they are advancing. Bayern started with Mehdi Benatia before Neymar scored a goal and that was the seventh straight game where he has scored. Neymar was able to score again after a nice play from Messi and that put the team up 2-.
That put Bayern in a tough spot, as they would need five goals to get through and unanswered at that, but they still didn't quit. Robert Lewandowski scored a goal to tie the game and Thomas Muller scored the eventual game-winner in the latter stage of the game. The team now is out and Barcelona will have the chance to win the title in June and this will be the fifth time the team is in and the first since 2011 when they won over Man United.
