Oscar has not yet made quite an impact as fellow new signing Eden Hazard, but the Brazilian international cannot wait to get his Champions League career started when Chelsea take on Juventus.

Oscar has not made a competitive start for the Blues this season, as Chelsea look to become the first ever club to defend their title in the Champions League era. The playmaker has not really caught the eye at Stamford Bridge, with Roberto Di Matteo preferring to bed the 21-year-old slowly into the hustle and bustle of the English Premier League.

The Champions League is a different prospect though, and there might even be a case for Oscar to adapt to the European game quicker than the English game; although there is no doubt he will be a success in both leagues, such is his talent. Oscar admitted it would be a "dream come true" to play in the Champions League.

"I have always wanted to play in the Champions League and who wouldn't want to play for the European champions?" Oscar told the Daily Star.

"It will be a dream come true to hear that famous anthem when I am out on the pitch, rather than on television.

"I am hoping it will not take me long to adapt. There is a multi-national team here with other Brazilians and Latin players, so they will help me through with their past experience."

Oscar also revealed his admiration for Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, but said his idol was a player who has found it hard to get game time at Real Madrid - Kaka.

"I loved to watch him when I was growing up," he said of Lampard. "I always thought he was an outstanding player.

"I know I can't wait to play alongside Frank Lampard but my boyhood idol would have to be Kaka. He plays in the same position as me and he is an exceptional player."
