Liverpool Rumors and News: Raheem Sterling Will Ask Club To Sell With Manchester City, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich Interested?

Liverpool star Raheem Sterling could be on his way out of Anfield this summer, as the English forward may ask the club to sell him this offseason and if that happens, teams like Manchester City, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich could be interested in making a move.

Sterling is one of the best players in England and he is still just 20-years-old, but it looks like he is on his way out of Liverpool. According to the BBC, Sterling may ask Liverpool to sell him this summer when he meets with the team this week and it comes after the two sides have been unable to reach a contract agreement this year. Sterling has rejected multiple offers this year and Pro Soccer Talk reports those have been around the $200,000 per week range.

Brendan Rodgers did not express confidence last month when asked about the prospect of getting Sterling in on a contract and now things could be headed for a split. Sterling has been called out by some in the media for asking for too much, but he has said that his main goal is winning trophies and not making the most money. Last year Liverpool nearly won the Barclays title, but the team lost out to Manchester City and this year they are looking at a fifth place finish on the EPL table.

Liverpool got rid of Luis Suarez after last season and the team brought in Mario Balotelli, but they ended up getting bounced out of the Champions League and did not get into the top four in the EPL. Steven Gerrard is leaving for the MLS and if Sterling goes, Rodgers will have quite the job on his hands for the summer. Obviously Liverpool will get a big number for Sterling wherever he goes and Man City has been one club that has come up in connection with him.

The Mirror reports in their latest rumors column that Arsenal, Real Madrid, Bayern, Manchester City and Chelsea are potential landing spots, with Man City and option if they "remake the roster", which is expected. Yaya Toure could be a target to leave and Sterling should have plenty of suitors this summer if he wants to leave Liverpool.
