Chelsea Transfer News: Hazard Not Feeling the Pressure at Stamford Bridge; Oscar Happy After Brilliant Champions League Debut

Chelsea new boy Oscar made the best possible debut for Chelsea in the Champions League with two wonderful goals against Juventus at Stamford Bridge; however, the Brazilian playmaker was disappointed his goals did not transform into a win for his side.

Oscar scored via two long-range efforts, with the second goal a strike of absolute brilliance, giving Chelsea fans a whiff of what to expect from their £25 million ($40.4 million) man.

"I am very happy with the two goals on my debut but I would have been much happier if the team had managed to win," the 21-year-old is quoted as saying on UEFA.com.

"For the second goal, as soon as I had made the first touch and shot, I knew the ball was going in."

Oscar added he had already settled in really well to life in London and was looking forward to scoring many more similar goals for the European champions.

"Every young boy in Brazil has dreams of playing in the Champions League so for me to realise this dream, it makes me very proud," he said. The fans are very good here.

"I like it at the club and I hope I can keep going and score more goals like this. I have a lot of friends in London. The Brazilian players are always together so I am very happy with my life and with the club."

Another big-money signing - Eden Hazard - rued the fact that his side let slip a two-goal advantage. "I think we played a good match," the Belgian international said. Oscar scored two goals but after that we weren't able to defend the lead better.

"Hopefully we will do that in our next matches."

Hazard, who has already made a big impact in the English Premier League for Chelsea, said he felt no pressure from the big £32 million ($51.7 million) price tag and was confident the Blues could defend their title this year. "I don't feel any pressure because of my price tag, I have already shown how I can play at Lille and hope to continue like that here, scoring and setting up goals to help the team win," he added.

"Of course, we have great players and a great team as we showed when we won the competition last year. If all our players are at their best there is no reason why we can't win it again."
