You read correctly, there are talks on having an official Bikini Basketball League. This might be the official death of the WNBA.

This is no scrimmage basketball in your neighborhood basketball court, there are talks about having the BBA, Bikini Basketball Association. There are reportedly seven franchises in six cities, the Chicago Desire, Orlando LadyCats, Miami Spice, Los Angeles Ice, New York Knockouts, Hollywood Hotties and Atlanta Fleet Angels.

Now the Lingerie Football League will have competition. The established teams have tweeted that they are looking for women "who look good in a bikini and are Athletic." 

Set to open in 36 days, the Bikini Basketball Association or Bikini Basketball league hopes to have more success than the other bikini leagues that were attempting to establish themselves. 

The biggest failure came from the Bikini Hockey League, which sounds like a bad idea just from the sound of it. There was also a pro volleyball tour that was shutdown after 2010. 

So move over Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and the rest of the NBA, there will be new players owning the courts of America.
