Jordan Spieth won the US Open on Sunday over Dustin Johnson by one stroke and it came after Johnson three-putted for a par on the 18^th hole to give Spieth the title and now the young PGA Tour star has won the past two majors after taking the Masters earlier in the season.

Spieth finished ahead of Johnson and was left to watch as Johnson missed out on the chance to take the tournament, as he finished alongside Louis Oosthuizen for the 115^th US Open. Spieth won the first two legs of the Grand Slam for the first time since Tiger Woods did it and now he has the chance to add a third later in the season. Spieth is also the youngest winner of the tournament in over 50 years.

Johnson finished with a 70 after his par putt, while Spieth was able to get three birdies at the end to finish off with a score of one-under 69 and a 72-hole total of five under for the tournament. Johnson took an early lead in the tournament and made it to the end neck and neck with Spieth, but the pressure and the moment may have overtaken things on the putts. Spieth now has won two slams and he has done it while being just 21-years-old.

"I'm still amazed that I won, let alone that we weren't playing tomorrow," Spieth told reporters. "So for that turnaround right there, to watch that happen, I feel for Dustin, but I haven't been able to put anything in perspective yet."
