New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox ESPN Live Stream: Watch as A.L. East Division is On the Line

The New York Yankees face the Boston Red Sox in the final game of the 2012 season with the A.L. East on the line.

If the Yankees win today, the capture the American League East without having to depend on what happens in Tampa Bay as the Rays face the Baltimore Orioles.

The Orioles won 1-0 yesterday keeping their division hopes alive. They are in the playoffs for sure, but the Yankees know they have to perform in order to avoid a one-game playoff for the division title.

The Yankees will send Hirok Kuroda to the mound adn we do not know if that is a good thing.

The starter recently expressed never enjoying himself when pitching. Kuroda said he hides the way he feels.

Regardless of how Kuroda views pitching, at certain points in the season, he has been the Yankees' best pitcher. He is 15-11 in 2012. Kuroda has been hit as of late, but in his last 10 starts he is 5-3 with a 3.65 ERA.

He will face the Red Sox's Daisuke Matsuzaka. You have to like the Yankees' chances in this one.

Along with the Red Sox's struggling season, Matsuzaka has also disappointed. In has last four starts he has giving up at least four runs. Over his last 10 starts he is 1-6 with a 7.68 ERA giving up 37 runs in 43.1 innings pitched.
