PSV Eindohoven will host the match against SSC Napoli on Thursday beginning at 1 p.m. ET.
For Napoli, it will be a chance to further distance themselves in the Group F standings after winning in matchday 1 against AIK Solna. They defeated Solna 4-0 on a hat-trick by Eduardo Vargas.
PSV did not have the same luck as they are sitting in third place in the Group F standings following their loss against FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the first game of the Europa League.
In their respective leagues both clubs are fairing well.
PSV is in third place in the Dutch Eredivisie League. They are 5-2 with 15 points and lead the league with 18 goals scored. Meanwhile Napoli is in second place, but tied with Juventus in points in Italy's Serie A. Napoli has yet to lose a match and they are 5-0-1 with 16 points and 10 goals scored.
PSV's head coach Dick Advocaat has the tough task of deciding whether to play youngster Jurgen Locadia who scored a hat trick in 11 minutes this past Sunday against VVV-Venio.
"He is a player who has qualities but we don't want to overstate them," said Advocaat. "He has to show he can maintain this level of performance. He is just beginning."
