MLB Results: Robinson Cano Hits Two Home Runs, Seattle Mariners Win Over Yankees

The Seattle Mariners bounced back against the NY Yankees on Saturday, winning at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx 4-3 after getting two home runs from Robinson Cano, who has slowly been pulling out of his season-long slump.

Cano and the Mariners are trying to find a way to turn it around this season, as Seattle was considered to be a popular pick to make the playoffs in 2015. The team won 87 games last year, but they are under .500 and now they have to make things up in the second half. Cano helped out on Saturday with two home runs, both two-run shots off of Mariner Michael Pineda in the first and sixth innings.

Cano has been getting booed at Yankee Stadium since he left the team for Seattle and it came in waves over the last two games from fans. Cano signed a $240 million deal and Yankee fans boo him because the team did not want to pay his market values because they paid too much money for Alex Rodriguez years ago. Cano has raised his average over the last month and he went 3-for-4 in the game on Saturday.

"The more they boo me, I think that's just motivation," Cano said, according to the NY Times.

Kyle Seager hit two home runs on Friday night in the Bronx, but the difference was Rodriguez and his home run in the seventh, which gave the Yankees a 4-3 lead that they would keep.
