The Chicago Bulls host the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET for their NBA preseason matchup.
The Bulls are getting ready to play the beginning of their season without superstar Derrick Rose. Some, like former Miami Heat point guard, Tim Hardaway, believe that Rose should sit out the entire season and return when he fully recovers.
Rose has a hard nose mentality and style of play, which grants him multiple trips to the floor.
There is no doubt that the Bulls will miss theirl All-Star and MVP during the season. Contrary to prior years, the Bulls are not expected to be one of the top teams in the league.
Everybody in the east going better and a few of their key players left the ball club, mostly pivotal bench players like John Lucas III, C.J. Watson, Brian Scalabrine and Omer Asik.
They will face a Grizzlies team that is fresh off another postseason appearance.
In 2011-2012, the Grizzlies finished fourth best in the Western Conference. They were 41-25 finishing just above the Los Angeles Clippers, who bounced them in an exciting series that went to Game 7.
They look to continue improving after they finished 2011 in eighth place.
This will be the Bulls' first game of the preseason. Meanwhile the Grizzlies already got their engines warmed up with a 105-93 victory over Real Madrid on Saturday.
