NFL News: Philadelphia Eagles Named the Most Hated Fan Base In League By Sports Illustrated

Sports Illustrated has found that the Philadelphia Eagles have the most hated fan base in the NFL. The Eagles have had to go so far as to install a jail at Veterans Stadium along with a judge that would deal with the rowdiest of fans.

In Philadelphia where every winter was routinely met with rock filled snow balls and sprawling crime that only wavered along the 28 blocks that make up center city it does not surprise me at all that the Eagles organization needed a judge to deal with rowdy Eagle fans. One of the most distasteful sporting spectacles Eagles fans were involved was the reaction to Michael Irvin's career ending injury in 1999.

That solidified the hatred between the Eagles and the Cowboys forever, rowdy Eagle's fans cheering for a motionless Michael Irving while booing an obviously upset Deion Sanders.  Eagle's fans seem to go above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to being distasteful and classless but wouldn't you be mad to if your team has never won a Super bowl while everyone else in your division has more than one?

Eagles fans can breathe easy though, with Chip Kelly, Sam Bradford, DeMarco Murray, along with a whole cast of injury prone characters you guys are definitely due for a Super Bowl win soon (sarcasm).
