NBA Free Agent Rumors: Carlos Boozer, Larry Sanders, Reggie Evans, Elton Brand Options For Bulls, Kings, Knicks, Wizards, Blazers?

The NBA free agent market still has some notable names, as players like Carlos Boozer, Larry Sanders, Reggie Evans, Cory Jefferson, Henry Sims, Jason Maxiell, Elton Brand, Jeff Withey, Landry Fields, Henry Sims, Austin Daye, Greg Stiemsma, Tayshaun Prince, Dorell Wright and Ricky Ledo are available and teams like the Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks, Washington Wizards and Portland Trail Blazers could be options.

Carlos Boozer is one of the top players left, as he was fairly productive for the Lakers last season and could catch on with a team looking for veteran depth. Larry Sanders has been out of the league while dealing with off the court issues, but when he is ready to return he could be a low rick, high upside pickup for teams. Elton Brand has had some attention on the market with the Mavericks showing some interest, but he has not come close to a deal yet.

According to the Sacramento Bee, Reggie Evans is a target to return to the Kings, as DeMarcus Cousins likes having him on the roster and that move could help keep the big man happy. Evans could be a fit for the Bulls, Rockets, Mavericks or Clippers, but right now the best bet is a return to Sacramento. Glen Davis is still available and Pro Basketball Talk reports that he could return to the Clippers or play overseas in Europe or China next season. Ledo was waived by the Knicks and could catch on in training camp for a team, while players like Brendan Haywood and Mike Miller are also on the market.

Marc Stein reports that Miller could wait until after training camp top sign with a team. According to ESPN.com, the Memphis Grizzlies, Dallas Mavericks, Warriors and Thunder are all landing spots for Miller, while Haywood could be a fit for the Lakers, Bulls or Wizards. Haywood and Miller were traded from the Cavs to the Blazers in a financial move and the two players later were waived. The Bulls need a backup center for Joakim Noah if Nazr Mohammed does not return, while the Wizards previously showed interest in Carlos Boozer and Kevin Seraphin, who signed with the Knicks.

The Wizards reportedly considered a Nene trade this offseason, but with Seraphin signing with the Knicks, a deal is off the table or now, according to the Washington Post. The team showed some interest in Boozer along with the Toronto Raptors earlier in the offseason and that could pick up closer to training camp. Last season Boozer averaged 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game and he could be a cheap, productive bench player for a team.

It may take some time before a team takes a chance on Larry Sanders after all he has been through, but he could be am intriguing option for teams. Sanders signed a lucrative contract with the Bucks and last season he put up 7.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game while playing just 27 games at 21 minutes per contest. Sanders showed his potential in 2012 by nearly putting up a double-double with averaged of 9.5 rebounds and 9.8 points per game and someone could take a chance.
