NFL Training Camp Injury Update: 8-6-2015 Around the League, Washington Redskins, Falcons, Packers and Eagles

DeAngelo Hall (Washington Redskins): DeAngelo Hall suffered a soft tissue injury in practice on Thursday. Hall suffered some type of groin injury that will keep him out for at least a week. This injury should be gone by week one however Hall is coming off of two Achilles surgeries so the Redskins should ease him back into practice.

Devonta Freeman (Atlanta Falcons): Freeman suffered a hamstring strain after taking some extra reps. Tevin Coleman has missed the past two days of practice with a similar injury. Freeman working towards being the starter however this hamstring injury should set him back for about a week.

Clay Matthews (Green Bay Packers): There is no timetable for Matthews to return to practice after suffering a knee injury. The injury was thought not to be severe however it is likely it will keep Matthews out of practice for a week.

Kiko Alonso (Philadelphia Eagles): Alonso suffered a concussion which means he will be evaluated week to week. The concussion is a huge setback for the new Eagles linebacker as he has limited time to learn Chip Kelly's system and could stand to miss a sizable portion of prep time.

DeSean Jackson (Washington Redskins): Jackson has a grade 2 separation in his shoulder which should keep him out for a few weeks. Jackson's injuries mean he should miss a large portion of preseason but so far it seems as if he will play week 1.

Kevin White (Chicago Bears): White has not practiced since the Bears started camp, which is not a good sign for a rookie. The injury also held him out of any team activities six weeks prior to training camp. White should spend a sizable amount of the offseason working on mental reps.
