NFL Preseason 5 Things To Watch: Who Is Top RB For Cowboys, Can Eagles Offense Click, Will Jimmy Garoppolo Play Well For Patriots?

Who runs the ball for the Dallas Cowboys?

All of the Cowboy's starting running backs have been injured at some point during training camp. This is not the best sign for a team that fell in love with running the ball last year. Now the Cowboys are looking to undrafted rookie Gus Johnson and Lache Seastrunk to lead the rushing attack in their first preseason game. The Cowboys have liked what they have seen from Johnson and as an added bonus he can pass protect. Look for Dallas to find their next bell cow in these 4 preseason games.

Will Chip Kelly's offense work?

Chip Kelly has taken a lot of high profile risks this offseason. He let go some star playmakers and replaced them with injured question marks. Now it is put up or shut up time for Philadelphia's last hope. Will Sam Bradford make it through preseason games without incident? Will the running game be solidified in preseason or will it fall apart? There are questions abound but the NFL world is just a few weeks away from some very clear answers.

How will the Seahawks look with Jimmy Graham?

The Seahawk's passing game got significantly upgraded with the addition of Jimmy Graham and Tyler Lockett. How will the newly signed Russell Wilson respond to suddenly having one of the best weapons in football? And will the Seahawks use Graham like the Saints or will he spend most of his time blocking for Marshawn Lynch? There are so many questions behind what one of the most talented NFL teams of the last decade will do with their new toy.

Can Jimmy Garoppolo be an effective NFL starter?

Will the Patriots be alright when Tom Brady eventually retires? The heir to the Patriots offense Jimmy Garoppolo will be tested early on in the season and should play a lot during the preseason. Can the Patriots dominate the AFC East again, and if Brady returns and Garoppolo is playing great, will they make an immediate change? I fully believe that even Bill Belichick has no idea what to expect from the start of this season.

Will the Oakland Raiders be good?

The Oakland Raiders have been terrible for a really long time, almost for entire careers of NFL players. Now with a capable quarterback in Derek Carr, a rushing weapon in Latavius Murray, and the best wide receiver in the 2015 NFL draft in Amari Cooper how will they respond? Will this coaching staff be able to solidify this offense into something people will fear?

Some of the biggest story lines of the NFL may play out in preseason games, NFL fans and players alike will wait to see just how the landscape of the NFL changes after four preseason games.
