Thursday Night Football Scores: Seahawks vs. 49ers Live Blog with Play-By-Play and Updates

The San Francisco 49ers host the Seattle Seahawks as they set off Week 7 of the NFL in their Thursday Night Football matchup.

The Seahawks are still high off their last minute win against the New England Patriots last Sunday.

Russell Wilson, their rookie quarterback won another game in the final seconds, this time it was legit and he hit Sydney Rice in the end zone after he sneaked past the Patriots' corners.

For the 49ers it was a different story.

There was no drama on Sunday as the New York Giants intercepted their quarterback Alex Smith three times.

The defense did a great job preventing touchdowns once the Giants got in the red zone, but it was useless as the Giants had such great field positioning that they just kicked the 49ers to death.

In the end, after crushing opponents in back-to-back games, the Niners only posted three points and allowed 26.

Expect this matchup to be packed with defense.

The 49ers have the better offense, but it will be all about the defense. Since the Seahawks' come into the league ranked one of the lowest, they will have to run their way past the 49ers and that they can do with Marshawn Lynch.
