With a win in Game 5, the Cardinals could take the Championship Series, win the N.L. Pennant and face the Detroit Tigers once again in the World Series.
The Tigers destroyed the New York Yankees, sweeping the Bronx Bombers and eliminating them in the ALCS.
Their bats woke up and their pitching was as consistent as usual.
The Cardinals will have a chance to close out the series tomorro as first pitch is a little after 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.
