The New York Knicks are already experiencing health issues in their lineup, but good thing it is only the preseason. The Knicks will take on the Raptors in Toronto at 7 p.m. ET.
So far in the preseason, the Knicks are 2-0. They recently defeated the Boston Celtics 98-95. Carmelo Anthony took charge of the offense, scoring 23 points in just under 24 minutes played.
Though analysts believe Chris Copeland will not make the starting club, he had a huge game against the Celtics. He scored 21 points in 19 minutes and had the game winning block as time was winding down in overtime.
For the Raptors, they are also coming off a three-point victory against the Washington Wizards. Landry Fields, the former Knick, had a game-high 15 points. He will look to put a similar performance against the franchise who drafted him.
The Raptors are so far 3-1 in their preseason. They split their first two NBA exhibition games against the Detroit Pistons after defeating their international visitors, Real Madrid.
The Knicks defeated the Washington Wizards 108-101 in their first exhibition game of the year.
Injuries for the Knicks include Marcus Camby, their offseason acquisition and the team's sixth man, J.R. Smith has been sidelined with an Achilles problem. Smith will not play during the preseason.
