THe action kicks off at 7:35 a.m. ET/12:45 p.m. GMT between Chelsea and Tottenham as the English Premier League resumes its weekly matches following an international break.

Chelsea hopes to pick up where it has left off all season long; first place. They have a somewhat-healthy lead over the second place Manchester United. Chelsea, in seven games, has tallied up 19 points, meanwhile, Man U has 15, good for a four-point advantage. 

Chelsea has yet to drop a match this season, missing out on three points as they finished in a 0-0 draw with Queens Park Rangers, who is currently the last place team in the standings. 

For Tottenham, the season has gotten off to a good start. In their first seven matches, the Hotspurs have racked up 14 points.

A victory today will not get them into first place, but it would help them inch in to position for a take over.

By the way, in case you are wondering, Chelsea heavily favored to win this match as 68 percent of fans predicted a win for the Blues. 21 percent of these Chelsea believers think the game will finish 3-1. 14 percent predicted a 2-1 victory by Chelsea and then finally, 10 percent oredicted that Tottenham woul win 2-1.
