Bryant Listed Day-To-Day With Strained And Bruised Foot Injury

Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers did not participate in the team's practice on Monday, as the organization announced Bryant suffered a strained and bruised right foot and is listed as day-to-day.

NBA.com reported Bryant was injured during the third quarter of the Lakers' 99-92 preseason loss to the Sacramento Kings, where Bryant still managed to score 21 points.

Bryant's minor injury should not be an issue for the season opener but the chances that Bryant misses the Lakers next exhibition game Wednesday against the Clippers still remain.

Bryant's injury is not the only injury the Lakers are dealing with. Forward Metta World Peace practiced Monday with a splint in his right middle finger. World Peace dislocated his finger Sunday night, but had it popped back in and kept playing through the game.

Lakers center Dwight Howard's back injury still lingers over the team, despite his impressive19 point debut against Sacramento. The worry amongst the organization is that there's always a chance that he aggravates the injury.

Los Angeles also saw Steve Nash leave the court Sunday night due to an ankle injury, something that the coaching staff did not want to happen.
