DeAndre Hopkins (Wide Receiver): Hopkins is looking to be the best wide receiver on this roster. He has been the number one option for a little while, and his speed and hands keep him on top. Hopkins has the biggest ceiling of all of the Texans wide receivers however Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett are anything but elite options.
Cecil Shorts (Wide Receiver): Shorts has been gaining some momentum in preseason and was the number one option in Jacksonville. If Shorts can form some chemistry with Brian Hoyer and show a little consistency then he will be worth the late round draft pick.
Alfred Blue/Jonathan Grimes/ Chris Polk (Running Back): These running backs are mere placeholders for Arian Foster; they were never expected to succeed. Blue has been less than effective in his time starting in Fosters place. Grimes and Polk both have shown flashes of brilliance however they cannot be consistent enough to take the job away from Blue.
Arian Foster (Running Back): Foster is the biggest offensive player on the Texans roster. He is the big bodied, play making running back that the Texans need to dictate the pace they would enjoy on offense. Since Foster's groin injury happened there has been a lot of speculation about when he would return if at all. Foster should be back by week 5 but it could take him a few weeks to return to playing form. He is worth a late round flier if you want some RB depth later in the season.
